Soltec, Almagro Capital, Making Science, Soluciones Cuatroochenta have been nominated for the European Small and Mid-Cap Awards. These awards, created in 2013 by the European Commission and the Federation of European Stock Exchanges (FESE) , seek to promote best practices and success stories among European small and mid-cap companies.
The four Spanish companies, presented by BME, will compete in different categories. Almagro Capital is a candidate in the Rising Star category. This SOCIMI, which began trading on BME Growth in January 2019, has a market capitalization of 98 million euros.
Making Science, a company specializing in integrated technology and marketing solutions for digital business that made the leap to BME Growth in February last year, is a candidate for the Star of 2021 award. Its value is 182 million.
Soluciones Cuatroochenta, which joined BME Growth in 2020 from the Pre-Market Environment, BME's initiative to help small and medium-sized companies to list on the markets, is a candidate in the International Star category. It has a market valuation of 38 million.
Soltec, which debuted on the stock market in October last year and specializes in the renewable energy sector, is a contender for the Start of Innovation award. Its market capitalization is 642 million.
The winners in the different categories will be announced in November this year during a ceremony to be held in Portoroz, Slovenia, on 16 November.
