Oct. 01, 2020 TSE Handling of Tomorrow's Trading (Oct. 2)

 


Today, trading on arrowhead and ToSTNeT for all listed symbols was halted for the whole day. The handling of tomorrow's trading (i.e., Oct. 2) will be announced when ready (around 19:30 JST, Oct. 1). If trading is to be conducted as usual, the handling of the various trading procedures will be as follows.

1. Base Price
The base price for tomorrow Oct. 2, will be the same base price or central price as those for today Oct. 1. However, the base price for multiply-listed foreign symbols (home market price symbols ) will be determined separately by TSE .
As the next day's base price information will not be disseminated through the Market Information System, please refer to the base price information of all listed issues to be posted on Target (around 17:00 JST).

2. Short Selling Price Restriction
Issues that triggered the short selling price restriction on Sep. 30 and were set to be subject to the short selling price restriction for today's trading (Oct. 1) will continue to be subject to the short selling price restriction in tomorrow's trading (Oct. 2).

3. Handling of Expansion of Daily Price Limit
Issues that fell under the daily price limit expansion criteria on Sep. 30 and also fall under said criteria on Oct. 2 will have their daily price limits expanded on the next business day (Oct. 5).

4. Price for ToSTNeT trading
　(Single Stock Trading)　　
The reference price for the price range for Single Stock Trading prior to the opening of the trading session tomorrow Oct. 2, will be the base price for today Oct. 1, and trading will be available from 8:20 JST tomorrow Oct. 2.
VWAP Guarantee Trading and VWAP Trading between entrusted orders, which use the previous day's VWAP as the trading price, will not be available from 8:20 to 9:00 tomorrow.

　(Closing Price Trading)
Closing Price Trading will be available from 8:20 to 9:00 as usual and will use the closing price of the regular trading session on Sep. 30 (or last special quote prices or last sequential trade quote price. If neither is available, the base price for that day) as the trading price.
