BME, through its training subsidiary, Instituto BME, and Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV), through Escuela de Bolsa Mexicana, have signed a collaboration agreement on financial education to share their training offerings in Spain and Mexico.
The aim is to facilitate access to financial and stock market training, promote sustainability and sustainable finance and further explore the ESG strategy of both organisations.
The agreement focuses on the following two initial projects:
The collaboration agreement will offer various benefits to the students from Spain and Mexico that the BME and Mexican exchange’s offering is aimed at, such as reduced prices in their training programmes.
These are the first of many other initiatives that will arise from the future collaboration between the two companies, which will benefit the citizens of both countries. The agreement signed by
BME and BMV reflects the strong commitment of both entities to financial education.
BME is committed to promoting financial literacy in Spain through its training subsidiary, Instituto BME, which focuses on the organization of training services related to the markets and their technology. Instituto BME is also a close collaborator of the Financial Education Plan, an initiative of the Spanish securities market supervisor, CNMV, the Bank of Spain and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation. Its aim is to improve the financial culture of citizens, providing them with the basic knowledge and tools they need to manage their finances in a responsible and informed manner.
The Escuela de Bolsa Mexicana is part of Grupo Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, the operator of the Mexican securities and derivatives market. Its training area has been offering courses in the country for 20 years and during this time has sought alliances to bring its financial training to as many people as possible.
