We are a 5-year-old startup, but running our business profitably and we are cash flow positive. We have scaled to 1100 employees now and continuing. We have raised capital from time to time but we keep our fiscal discipline and balance. I'll like to think we have built an agile and institutional tech-enabled professional fund administration business. We have spent money generously, but we have been wise. We just do not burn cash blindly just because it's there. A majority of our co-founders (including me) come from India's desert state Rajasthan. My good friend Sharad Daswani shared this Harvard Business Review article about a year ago, and it just resonated with us immediately and still does. An excellent read for the founders/entrepreneurs.
