Ethic is dead. How could you kiss your kids everymorning? Stab them its more honest
F1 Racing has always been the pinnacle advancement sport for state of the art technology and testing that has lead to some very efficient engineering for the automotive and other various industries. The amount of money time and skill that goes into not only the vehicles but the entire infrastructure of the F1 racing industry as a whole is truly incredible. McLaren F1 team and Goldman Sachs are highly progressive and innovative in their approach to everything they are involved in. This will be a massive force to be reckoned with and I know I’m speaking for many more when I say that I’m looking forward to what the future holds for this new Partnership. Congratulations to David Solomon and the F1 racing Family over at McLaren Racing.
Goldman Sachs - McLaren Formula 1 team - net zero goals - in the same sentence 🚀🚀🏎🏎🔥🔥 David Solomon, let us remind you that you’re one of the worst financial institution in the world regarding your investments in fossil fuels (https://oilgaspolicytracker.org) #greenwashing
This is seriously weird. What is the « combined expertise « here : this is just about shifting sums of money and posing in racing gear. Also, I can’t quite wrap my mind about this idea that somehow those who are very much part of the problem can suddenly pretend to be part of the solution.
"drive faster to a more sustainable future." "Goldman Sachs" "McLaren Racing’s net-zero goals" That level of bullshit and greenwashing is certainly not net zero tho. The only thing that we can be sure is that thanks to Goldman Sachs we will drive faster to climate chaos.
I would die to see a fully electric Formula One Car vs an average Formula One Car. The batteries could be solid state (no explosions) and 3D printed into the body maximizing energy density. If anyone decides to do this let me on your team. Continuous power delivered to the wheels with electronic control of independent wheel speed would make this the ultimate race. No maintenance could be a game changer!
Maybe you can fire Riccardio? 🤷♂️ Seriously congratulations good move.
Congratulations
That's badass.

1yIt's really a nice marketing move but using Formula 1 and sustainability in the same sentence seems a little bit far-fetched: burning fossil fuels for excitement and driving more and more in undemocratic countries
