Eurex Circular 075/21 Amendment of GTC to the Connection Agreement and GTC to the Provider Connection Agreement: Removal of limit for owned and/or used 10Gbit/s ETI connections

1.  Introduction

To allow its customers further growth but to also have enough network capacity to serve new customers, Eurex Exchange has decided to take the following actions:

a.    Removal of the limit for owned and/or used 10Gbit/s ETI connections of currently 36
b.    Keeping the limit for owned and/or used 10Gbit/s ETI connections of currently 4 per Access Point (Switch)

These amendments will come into effect on 20 September 2021.

2.  Required action

No actions are required.

3.  Details

Eurex Exchange decided to increase the network capacity for its customers and to simplify the framework limit for 10Gbit/s ETI connections. Therefore, the current existing limit for 10Gbit/s ETI connections owned and/or used for Trading Participants and Service Providers of 36 will be removed. However, to keep sufficient capacity to serve new customers, the existing limit of 4 10Gbit/s ETI connections per Access Point (Switch) owned and/or used remains in place.

The existing limit of 32 10Gbit/s Market Data connections remains in place.

Therefore, the following documents will be amended respectively:

  • General Terms and Conditions to the Agreement on the technical connection and the utilization of the Exchange-EDP of Eurex Deutschland (Connection Agreement) according to Attachment 1,
  • General Terms and Conditions to the Agreement on the technical connection of a Multi-Member-System Provider to the Exchange-EDP Eurex® (Provider Connection Agreement) according to Attachment 2.

The amendments, as set out in Attachments 1 and 2, will be effective as of 20 September 2021.

As of the effective date, the full version of the amended documents will be available for download on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following link:
