Saudi Arabia’s flagship investment summit has been plunged into crisis over recent days, after JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon and BlackRock chief Larry Fink pulled out in the wake of the disappearance of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Adding to doubts over the event’s future, the conference organisers scrubbed the names of individual participants — including Dimon, Fink, and HSBC chief executive John Flint — from its online conference programme.
