Jul. 01, 2020 TSE TSE Holds the Third meeting for the Study Group to review Minority Shareholder Protection and other Framework of Quasi-Controlled Listed Companies

 

On July 1st, 2020, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. ("TSE") held the third meeting for the "Study Group to review Minority Shareholder Protection of Quasi-Controlled Listed Companies."

The agenda for the meeting was to understand the issues surrounding listed companies controlled by Quasi-Controlling Shareholder, and to discuss the frameworks of minority shareholder protection. First, TSE summarized the discussion the Study Group had at the last meeting, and then NIPPON STEEL CORPORATION gave a presentation. The Study Group had a vibrant discussion.
