Oct. 04, 2019 TSE TSE Admits Remote Trading Participant from Hong Kong

 

Tokyo Stock Exchange will welcome Citadel Securities (Hong Kong) Limited as its remote trading participant* on October 7, 2019. With the admission of the participant, the number of general trading participants will be 89.

  • A type of trading participant to allow foreign securities brokers without business bases in Japan to directly participate in the exchange market.

Outline of New Trading Participant

Citadel Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, through its counterparties, deals in equities and derivatives in major markets in Asia Pacific, including Tokyo Stock Exchange. It also trades through its own membership in Hong Kong Exchange (Equities and Derivatives), Australian Securities Exchange (Equities and Derivatives) and Singapore Exchange (Derivatives), and is an official market maker in Hong Kong and Australian market engaging in market making activity.
