Russell Thornton’s Post

View profile for Russell Thornton

Business Development Director | Facilitating the move away from legacy trading and connectivity infrastructure.

After nearly 19 years I have decided to leave Fidessa post the ION acquisition. Having worked across equities the buy side and derivatives over the years I’ve been very lucky to have met so many great staff and clients from all over the world. Whilst it’s a shame to be leaving, there is no doubt in my mind it’s the right time to do so and I know many of us will be keeping in touch. I am also very excited to be joining a new firm in Sept. Having met a number of the team already in meetings and on 2 wheels I can safely say they have a great company culture and share the same employee and client centric values I believe in. I wish all my Fidessa friends the best of luck and look forward to the new challenge in September.

Sad to see you go Russ, but allez to you in your new challenge :-)
