NZX Indices announces changes to the NZX 50 Index following the February Monthly Index Review. The changes below, and the monthly index rebalance, will be effective at market open on Monday 20 February 2012.
In accordance with the NZX 50 Index methodology, companies eligible to be included in the NZX50 are ranked by six-month average free-float market capitalisation, and required to meet liquidity requirements to be added to the index.
Trade Me Limited (TME) will be added to the NZX 50 Index for meeting liquidity requirement and ranking above the Monthly Review requirement to be added into the NZX 50 Index. Methven Ltd (MVN) will be removed from NZX 50 Index as the lowest ranking constituent.
