JA Solar Holdings Boosts Forecast for Shipments in 2011

JA Solar Holdings Co. lifted its forecast for shipments in 2011, saying sales in the fourth quarter are likely to exceed its previous guidance.
The Chinese solar panel maker said it probably shipped 390 megawatts to 410 megawatts of its products in the fourth quarter, more than its previous forecast for 310 megawatts to 330 megawatts. For 2011, shipments probably rnaged from 1.68 gigawatts to 1.7 gigawatts, compared with guidance of 1.6 gigawatts, according to a statement on Globe Newswire.
