Suzlon Awarded Order for 24 Megawatt Brazil Wind-Energy Project

Suzlon Energy Ltd., India’s biggest wind-turbine maker, will sell power equipment to Brazilian developer Servtec Group and investment fund manager Rio Bravo Investimentos SA for a project in the northeastern state of Ceara.

Suzlon will set up, operate and maintain the 12 turbines, which will start generating electricity in phases from December 2013, the Pune, India-based company said today in a statement without disclosing the price of the deal.
