RBS considers suing Santander over failed branch deal, Telegraph reports
Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is considering suing Santander (SAN) following the collapse of the failed deal for Santander to buy 316 RBS branches, the Telegraph reports. RBS believes the ditched deal could cost it up to GBP1B. Sources close to RBS say directors are said to be "convinced" that the bank is pulling out because of the banking crisis in Spain.
