The Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) announced today that November2012 trading volume averaged 114,505 contracts per day, up 15.8% from October 2012.
Average daily volume showed solid increases across most TOCOM contracts on a month-over-month basis.Gold, the most active commodity at TOCOM, was up 21.2% to 55,700 contracts. The Gold Mini was up28.7% to 11,185 contracts, Crude Oil was up 25% to 5,391 contracts and Gasoline was up 43.4 % to11, 324 contracts. Rubber was down 14.3% to 8,766 contracts.
