EPA Awards New York State $218 Million for Clean Water Projects

The Environmental Protection Agency awarded $218 million to New York state to help finance water projects, primarily to upgrade sewage plants and drinking water systems.
“The EPA is committed to improving water quality throughout New York state,” EPA Regional Administrator Judith A. Enck said in a statement.
