In August:
- The average daily turnover was EUR 85.4 (88.5) million, a decrease of 3.5 percent. The total turnover was EUR 1,963.9 (1,947.6) million, an increase of 0.8 percent.
- The average number of trades per day was 15,653 (14,266), an increase of 9.7 percent. The total number of trades was 360,023 (313,843) an increase of 14.7 percent.
- The trading participant with the highest turnover was Virtu Financial Ireland with a turnover of EUR 765.9 (716.1) million.
- The most traded instrument was Nokia, with a turnover of EUR 175.2 (59.7) million, an increase of 193.5 percent.
Olof Neiglick, CEO of Burgundy, comments about the month:
“Burgundy’s average daily turnover for the Nordic countries was EUR 85.4 (88.5) million. The total turnover at Burgundy increased in August, compared with July, with 0.8 percent.
For the fifth month in a row Burgundy continued to have the best Spreads (at touch) in OMXS30 throughout August according to LiquidMetrix battlemaps.*”
