John Menzies plc, one of the UK's oldest and most widely known business brands, celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of its listing on London Stock Exchange this morning by opening the UK markets. Paul Dollman, Group Finance Director at John Menzies, joined Alastair Walmsley, Director of Equity Primary Markets at London Stock Exchange Group to celebrate the anniversary.

Founded as a bookshop in Edinburgh in 1833, the company listed in London on 3 October 1962. It has since grown into a business with distribution and aviation operations in Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America. Since listing the company's market value has grown to over £380 million.
