Orc partners with Blue Trading Systems to provide tablet systems to floor traders
Orc announced a partnership with Blue Trading Systems to provide tablet systems to floor traders. The partnership is designed to leverage Orc’s expertise in the electronic options markets with Blue Trading System’s experience in floor markets. The combined solution uses Orc’s APIs to integrate BlueTrade’s tablet system with Orc’s electronic options platform. This enables floor traders and electronic market makers to increase their market opportunities in hybrid markets by granting access to the same option prices, models and analytics. Read more>>

Orc, a leading provider of technology and services for the global financial industry, today announced support for Eurex Exchange’s new trading architecture, the all-new trading platform scheduled for launch on December 3, 2012. Market Connectivity Update
Orc Administration Tools
We work hard and invest continuously to extend and enhance our global market data and exchange connectivity portfolio, aiming to expand our customers’ opportunities and better enable them for success.
Market participants looking to trade products at the Prague Stock Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange will be well equipped using Orc’s products. Prague and Warsaw are migrating to new trading platforms and Orc is ready to serve the members who have adapted solutions for these platforms and meet local requirements. If you are interested in eastern European opportunities, you may also be excited to hear that Orc is aiming to serve customers at the Budapest Stock Exchange by the Fall of 2013.
In related news, Orc has been working with Bloomberg to develop connectivity to the Bloomberg B-Pipe service. Orc customers will be able to receive Bloomberg market data via the Bloomberg API. This includes reference and market data for all equity cash and derivative markets, and includes integration with Bloomberg’s EMRS entitlement system for management and reporting of market data consumption for exchange reporting purposes.
