Felix replaces Mark Snead, who has started an economic consulting firm in Oklahoma City called RegionTrack. Snead, who came to Denver in 2009, spoke frequently on the Colorado economy.

Felix’s duties will include running the branch; working with banking, business and commmunity leaders, and conducting regional economic research.

Her research expertise is in field of public finance and tax policy, including local tax incentives and corporate taxation.

Previously, Felix was a senior economist in the regional affairs department of the Fed’s Kansas City Bank. She holds doctorate and master’s degrees in economics from the University of Michigan.
