- WSE and PAP have modified the portal WSEInfoSpace as of June
- New technology solutions facilitate prompt access to information and direct communication of companies with shareholders and potential investors
The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) and the Polish Press Agency (PAP) have modified the portal WSEInfoSpace as of the beginning of June. From the perspective of portal users, the key modifications include a new layout and new functionalities. The technology has also been largely modified to facilitate prompt and easy access of users to capital market information, summaries, data, quotations, as well as company reports.
The new solutions introduced in the portal include a system of company profiles of listed companies. As a result, each company can contribute to the portal content by providing investor information about its projects, financial indicators, plans and projections.
In addition, companies can now communicate directly with their shareholders and potential investors by means of a mechanism which enables companies to post information on the portal. Thanks to a new content category featuring information provided by companies, the companies get an added value which extends beyond the standard functionalities offered by capital market information portals.
As of the beginning of June, service users can also use RSS feeds to subscribe for complete information concerning a company including among others press reports, company reports, and investor relations materials. The information content now includes a calendar of corporate events developed by a team of PAP Business editors responsible for ESPI system message distribution.
WSEInfoSpace was launched five years ago in partnership between the Polish Press Agency Business Service and the Warsaw Stock Exchange with the support of the National Depository for Securities. Since the launch, the portal has been maintained in two language versions: Polish and English. It features extensive information about companies listed on the WSE, information about legal regulations governing the Polish capital market, and decisions of market regulators. The content also includes information about the macroeconomic and political environment of the Polish market and the key global markets with a special emphasis on the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
