Fiserv names Lynch as a board member

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (AP) — Fiserv Inc., which creates the technology for online bill paying, mobile banking and other financial services, has named Dennis Lynch as a board member.

The appointment expands the Brookfield, Wis., company's board to nine directors.

The 63-year-old Lynch is chairman of retail ATM owner and operator Cardtronics Inc. He previously served as chairman and CEO of RightPath Payments Inc. and as president and CEO of payments company NYCE Corp.

Lynch is a board member and the former chairman of the Secure Remote Payments Council.

Shares of Fiserv fell a penny to $72.07 in afternoon trading Monday.
