Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) signed a Registrar Agreement with Injaz Mena Investment Company.
The agreement was signed between Mr. Rashed Al Baloushi, CEO of ADX, and Mr. Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, CEO of Injaz Mena Investment, at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange main offices in Abu Dhabi n the presence of senior staff of both parties.
Mr. Rashed Al Baloushi, CEO of ADX said in an ADX official press release “This agreement is a significant move that will generate the opportunity for investors to trade in company stocks due to the availability of an official market record established under the terms of this agreement. ADX is obligated to provide an electronic stock-saving system for transferring stock ownerships in the company in accordance with UAE financial laws”
CEO of ADX concluded by saying:” ADX looks forward to providing all the necessary services and meet all the requirements in accordance with the finest standards available in capital markets. We hope that this agreement will help us move closer to achieving our goals in line with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030,”
H.E. Ali Bin Khalfan Al Mutawa Al Dhaheri, Chairman of Injaz Mena Investment Co. PSC, said ”pursuant to the provision of Ministerial Resolution No. (370) of 2009 concerning the share register of private shareholding companies, Injaz Mena has selected Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange as its authorized Share Registrar as per Securities and Commodities Authority resolution no. 33R of 2009. Comparison between different licensed Share Registrar offers has taken place and resulted the selection of ADX efficient and flexible offer” he added” being familiar with dealing with ADX will facilitate any future transactions of Injaz shares”
