The index will comprise 105 stocks, after the exclusion of Banco de Valencia, following takeover by Caixabank, and of Sniace, for being suspended from trading.
The Indice General de la Bolsa de Madrid (IGBM) Management Committee has decided, in accordance with the technical provisions for the composition, calculation and sectoral division of the IGBM index family, to approve the composition of the IGBM and Indice Total indices for the first half of 2014.
Having considered the data relating to trading and capitalisation, two stocks will be excluded from the index. The IGBM composition for the first half of 2014 will therefore include 105 stocks.
The summary of changes is as follows:
EXCLUSIONS:
- Banco de Valencia, S.A., after being delisted on 22 July 2013, following takeover by Caixabank S.A.
- Sniace S.A., having been suspended from trading since 9 September 2013 after the company initiated insolvency proceedings due to imminent deadline envisaged by Article 5 bis of Bankruptcy Law.
Final weightings by sectors, subsectors and stocks will be published on the Daily Bulletin of Bolsa de Madrid on December 31, 2013.
