Asset Control, provider of financial data management solutions and services, today announced that BTG Pactual, Brazil's leading investment bank, will implement AC Plus.

BTG Pactual will consolidate and centralize multiple data domains onto AC Plus which will integrate seamlessly with their existing systems. Stage one of the implementation is scheduled to be completed by the end of next quarter, leveraging Asset Control's local delivery capability.

Latin America market participants face the same data management challenges witnessed by their counterparts across the globe. As such, it has become increasingly important to have solutions in place with the breadth, depth and agility to provide the most effective and efficient data management possible.

BTG Pactual will have access to AC Plus' out-of-the-box Bloomberg loader, which is fully supported and updated by Asset Control. The loader provides quick time to production while conveniently maintained mapping libraries eliminate the maintenance required on updates to the Bloomberg feed.

BTG Pactual will also use the AC Connect module, a core component of AC Plus, to streamline the distribution and integration of data to multiple downstream systems. This removes the need for costly development skills as well as third party integration tools. AC Connect's flexibility also enables BTG Pactual to graphically create subscriptions and queues and delivers that data in any form that the consuming system may require.

Phil Lynch, CEO, Asset Control, said: "The rapidly expanding economies of Latin America and Brazil represent a real opportunity for local and global players in the financial markets.
