Duchess of Cornwall is all smiles as she attends annual ICAP charity day
THE Duchess of Cornwall spent her morning mingling with celebrities today as she attended the annual ICAP charity day.
The 66-year-old royal was joined by actress Barbara Windsor, TV presenter Gabby Roslin and Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood as she answered calls at international dealer-broker ICAP for its 21st annual event.
Wearing a black pleated skirt with a blue and black jacket, Camilla had onlookers - including Barbara - in fits of laughter as she took two phonecalls at once.
Under the guidance of expert traders, the mother-of-two picked up the telephone to close several deals herself and was keen to raise as much for charity as possible.
Profits from the charity day went to charities including disaster aid group Shelterbox and the National Osteoporosis Society (Nos) - of which both count the Duchess as their president.
Since the first ICAP charity event back in 1993, the company has raised more than £100 million, with more than 60 offices taking part across the globe.
Clarence House said the money would help the Nos develop a new liaison service to find and guide those who do not realise they are victims of the common bone disease, which Nos says affects one in two women and one in five men in the UK.
The Duchess became a supporter of the charity in 1994 when her mother, Rosalind Cubitt, died from the condition.
