Broadridge’s Move To Newark Will Bring 1000 Jobs, Company Says

Broadridge Financial Solutions expects to bring along 1,000 jobs when it moves to 2 Gateway Center in downtown Newark.

NEWARK, NJ — How does the addition of 1,000 jobs to the city sound, Newark? That’s how many positions that Broadridge Financial Solutions expects to bring along when it moves to its new home at 2 Gateway Center in downtown Newark, according to a company news release.

The global fintech corporation announced earlier this month that the impending move was partly inspired by the area’s “technological connectivity and superior transportation access.”

Broadridge, which currently employs 10,000 associates in 16 countries, will move about 1,000 jobs to Newark and will create additional construction jobs as it moves into its new space, the company stated.

No anticipated move-in date was announced in their news release.

The space at 2 Gateway recently became the first building to participate in the Newark Fiber program, which allows tenants to access fiber-optic internet, and was the first building in the state of New Jersey to achieve WiredScore’s platinum certification.
