Japan Exchange Group released Trading Overview in November 2016.
- In November 2016, the daily average trading value for the TSE 1st Section (domestic common stocks) was JPY 3.0234 trillion, exceeding JPY 3 trillion for the first time since February 2016.
- In the ETF market, monthly trading value reached JPY 4.8641 trillion, a high since July 2016.
- Monthly trading value for the TSE 2nd section (domestic common stocks) reached JPY 726.0 billion, a high since August 2015.
- In November 2016, total derivatives trading volume was 30,487,090 contracts (+32.6% YoY), the third-highest on record for November.
- Total derivatives trading value was JPY 191 trillion (+19.8% YoY). Total trading value for equity index derivatives reached JPY 103 trillion (+24.7% YoY).
- Monthly trading volume for the night session was 10,109,456 contracts and the ratio of the night session was 33.2%.
