ISE Gemini OTF Available for Participant Testing - December 5

ISE Gemini OTF Availability

On December 5, the ISE Gemini Option Test Facility will become available to participants. To support development and testing for the broad range of market participants from different time zones, the OTF environment is available 19 hours a day from Monday to Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET. Technical support will be available during normal working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.

The following functionality will be available on December 5th:

  • Market Data feeds – Top of Book, Depth, Trade and Order feeds
  • Protocols - SQF, FIX, OTTO and CTI
  • Matching Engine Functionality
  • Simple Order and Quote Acceptance
  • Market Maker Curtailments (i.e. Rapid Fire)
  • Routing

The following functionality will be available on December 12th:

  • Cross Order and Auction Processing
  • Flash Functionality

Starting Wednesday, December 14, Nasdaq will provide participants with the ability to test the opening process by halting AAPL at 10 AM and re-opening at 10:30 AM each Wednesday in the OTF environment.

The following functionality will be available on a date to be determined:

  • Post Trade Allocation
  • Kill Switch Processing
  • Market Access Rule (MAR) Protections

Statically Quoted Symbols

The following products/instruments will be exchange quoted:

  • A, AB, AAPL, ISRG, JBLU, JNJ, SPRW, SPY, SQ, SSTK

Dynamically Quoted Symbols

The following products/instruments will be dynamically quoted using OPRA data:

  • AA, AAL, ABBV, IP, IWM, JNPR, JNS, SPGI, SPLS, STEM

Conformance Certification

Market Participants developing FIX, SQF, OTTO and CTI for INET must conduct a conformance test in the OTF environment in order to access the INET production environment. The conformance scripts for each protocol are available here.
