TOKYO -- Companies worldwide issued more bonds during the first nine months of the year than in any other January-September period, taking advantage of cheap borrowing costs made possible by central bank policies in Europe and Japan.
The bond floats totaled about $2.85 trillion, up 8% on the year, data from research firm Dealogic shows.
