- FEERUM S.A., a company listed on the WSE, has been named the Most Innovative Newcomer in the European Small and Mid-Cap Awards organised by the Federation of European Securities Exchanges and European Issuers in co-operation with the European Commission.
FEERUM, a company listed on the WSE Main Market since May 2013, has won the main award as the Most Innovative Newcomer. The nomination of FEERUM to the finals was already a great honour to the Warsaw market: the 12 winners in the four Awards categories include no CEE company other than FEERUM.
“I am proud to say that the quality of companies listed on our market is appreciated at prestigious events. This demonstrates the high quality of our issuers and of WSE’s offer,” said PaweÅ‚ Tamborski, President of the Management Board of Warsaw Stock Exchange.
“Innovation is part of our DNA. It is our way to keep developing and to market improved state-of-the-art products and solutions. The award proves that our efforts have been noted and acknowledged,” said Daniel Janusz, President of the Management Board of Feerum S.A.
FEERUM is one of Poland’s biggest producers of complex grain silos used to dry and store plant products including cereals, pulses, oilseeds and maize. The company is also involved in research and development in the machinery sector.
The European Small and Mid-Cap Awards were opened only to those companies whose IPOs took place in 2012-2013 and whose share price increased after the IPO. Furthermore, the capitalisation of companies entered in the Awards was capped at EUR 1 billion at the IPO date.
The winners were selected by an independent jury of representatives of the mass media, universities, businesses and asset managers. The European Small and Mid-Cap Awards established by FESE and European Issuers promote the most dynamically growing companies on the capital markets across the continent.
