Former Warner Bros. chairman-CEO Barry Meyer has joined the board of the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco.

Meyer will serve a two-year term at the org that is part of the regional network of banks that contribute to the development of federal monetary policies and has influence over other financial and regulatory issues.

Since leaving Warner Bros. in the fall of 2013, Meyer launched the consulting firm North Ten Mile Associates. He’s a board member of Activision/Blizzard and serves on the advisory board of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Meyer retired from Warner Bros. after a 43-year run at the studio, including 14 years as CEO.
