Miton posts H1 outflows from Gray's former multi-asset funds

Miton saw significant outflows from its multi-asset range in H1, before it handed the funds over to David Jane.

In a trading update ahead of its half-year results to 30 June, the firm said it saw a net inflow of £162m into its equity funds. However, this was offset by a net outflow of £183m from its defensively positioned multi-asset funds.  The range, including the £667m Special Situations and £162m Strategic Portfolio funds, was previously run by longstanding manager Martin Gray, who exited the firm before the funds were handed to Darwin's Jane in June.
