The lawyer appointed to investigate the Bank of England’s alleged knowledge of currency manipulation plans to seek an information-sharing agreement with the U.K.'s markets regulator, according to people with knowledge of the discussions.

Anthony Grabiner told the Treasury Select Committee during a private April 9 meeting that he’s working on a deal to ensure the Financial Conduct Authority’s currency-rigging investigation doesn’t hamper his own efforts, according to two people with knowledge of the discussion, who requested anonymity because the meeting was private.
