South Africa’s Public Investment Corp., the continent’s biggest fund manager, hired Stanlib Ltd.’s Sholto Dolamo to head its resources team.

Dolamo on Oct. 1 replaced Fidelis Madavo, who was promoted to head the state-owned company’s equities department, it said in an e-mailed response to questions yesterday. Dolamo spent six years at Stanlib, most recently as head of resources, the Johannesburg-based company said.
