To handle its continued growth of international clientele and product development, Born Technology announced today that Sara Jean Goodman and Paul Dimtsis have joined the firm’s sales and marketing teams. Goodman joins as Director of Sales and Marketing and is based in Chicago. Dimtsis comes on board as Managing Director of Sales and is based in Toronto.
“Both Sara and Paul bring with them strong backgrounds in technology and experience in the derivatives business,” said Derek Haworth, President of Born Technology. “Each comes in with invaluable business networks that will aid Born in continuing to grow our international reach, deepen our current global relationships and help us maintain our high level of customer service.”
Goodman has experience in both brokerage and technology marketing. She started in the industry building a marketing team for Chicago-based broker Advantage Futures. Following her time there, she joined technology firm RTS Realtime Systems as Manager of Marketing and Communications, Europe. Based in the firm’s Frankfurt office, she handled European marketing and advertising, and shared global marketing efforts. The experience bolstered her abilities in selling and marketing across different nationalities and cultures. She received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of South Florida. Goodman will cover sales in Chicago, London and Europe, as well as lead all strategic and digital marketing initiatives, including revamping the website and establishing Born Technology branding.
Dimtsis also comes with strong industry and technology roots. He most recently was Director of Sales for NYSE Technologies, where he covered all sales in Canada focusing on the exchange’s SFTI network, WOMBAT/Market Data offerings, and Global Liquidity Hubs. Prior to that he was Director of Sales in Canada for Orc Software, one of Born Technology’s closest partners. That experience will aid him in sales of complete product solutions to Canadian banks and other financial institutions in the Americas. He received an honors degree in economics from the University of Toronto. Dimtsis will handle Canadian and New York sales territories. Both will report directly to Executive Director, Tyler Beauregard.
