Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced today that Hong Kong-based Emperor Futures Limited has joined its derivatives market as a Trading Member.

The active participation of Emperor Futures and their network of clients will add to the liquidity in our suite of derivative products. Together, we are well-positioned to better serve our customers who are keen to tap on growth opportunities in Asia,” said Chew Sutat, Head of Sales and Clients, SGX.

The admission of Emperor Futures Limited brings the number of Trading Members for SGX’s derivatives market to 48. The derivatives market also has 27 Clearing Members. In addition, there are 11 Clearing Members for the clearing of OTC-traded financial derivatives on SGX AsiaClear while the securities market has 26 Trading Members and 26 Clearing Members.
