Under Listing Rule 10.4.5(j) NZSX listed companies (excluding overseas companies) are required to include in their Annual Report quantitative data on the gender breakdown of the Directors and Officers at the financial year end. This rule came into effect for financial years ending on or after 31 December 2012.
The table below (and in the attached memo table) summarises the aggregated data for all companies that released their gender diversity statistics to the market in the three months ended 31 March 2014. The comparative figures for Q1 2013 reflect the data disclosed in the equivalent period in the prior year. There are differences in the companies that comprise the two sets of data due to differences in the timing of releases as well as listings/delistings that have occurred in the past 12 months.
