Order book turnover on Xetra, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Tradegate stood at €93.7 billion in June (June 2013: €102.5 billion). Of the €93.7 billion, €86.2 billion were attributable to Xetra (June 2013: €95.3 billion). €3.9 billion were attributable to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (June 2013: €4.2 billion). Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange* totalled approximately €3.6 billion in June (June 2013: €3.0 billion).
In equities, turnover reached €81.9 billion on Deutsche Börse’s cash markets (Xetra: €77.1 billion, Frankfurt Stock Exchange: €1.6 billion, Tradegate Exchange: €3.2 billion). Turnover in bonds was €1.1 billion, and in structured products €1.0 billion. Order book turnover in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs amounted to €9.0 billion.
A total of 13.9 million transactions were executed on Xetra in June (June 2013: 16.6 million). The average daily turnover on Xetra stood at €4.1 billion in June (June 2013: €4.8 billion).
The DAX security with the highest turnover in June was Deutsche Bank AG at €7.0 billion. Metro AG led the MDAX equities at €588.5 million, while Deutsche Annington Immobilien SE topped the SDAX equity index with €155.3 million, and Nordex SE headed TecDAX with €398.3 million. The ETF with the highest turnover on Xetra was iShares Core DAX with €690.2 million.
The electronic trading platform Eurex Bonds traded €10.2 billion (single counting) in June (June 2013: €8.8 billion).
