TSE’s broad index lost about 0.7% in the week ended 5 February.
TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index shrank 583 points and stood roughly at 82214.3 level at the end of the previous working week. The index’s return reached about 116% from the beginning of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March 2013).
TSE’s First Market and Second Market indices respectively decreased 558 and 464 units, to lose 0.9% and 0.3% comparing one week earlier.
During the five working days of the week ended 5 February 2014, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover lowered about 17% and amounted to approximately IRR 12.6 trillion*. In the period, nearly 2.8 billion shares were traded in 363144 transactions, which respectively dropped 11.5% and 4% than its preceding week.
Total number of 450018 participation bonds at the value of IRR 450 billion was traded at TSE in the week, falling of 51% than the prior week.
