Deutsche Boerse AG’s Eurex derivatives venue will list futures based on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s TA-25 Index, giving its customers access to a Middle Eastern country for the first time.

Eurex will offer the dollar-denominated contracts from June 9, the chief executive officers of both exchanges said in London today. Options on the TA-25 were the 10th most-traded index contracts in the world at the end of the first quarter, and about 200,000 TA-25 index derivatives have changed hands every day this year, the exchanges said in a statement.
