The Supervisory Board of European Energy Exchange AG(EEX) has confirmed Steffen Köhler’s current position as a member of the Management Board and extended his term of office by a further five years.
At its meeting on 1 April 2014, the Supervisory Board adopted the resolution to re- appoint Steffen Köhler to his position as the Chief Operating Officer with effect from1 March 2015 to 29 February 2020. Steffen Köhler, who previously held an executive position at the Eurex derivatives exchange, was appointed a member of the Manage- ment Board of EEX in March 2012.
The other members of the Management Board are Peter Reitz (Chief Executive Officer), Iris Weidinger (Chief Financial Officer) and Dr. Thomas Siegl (Chief Risk Officer).
The European Energy Exchange (EEX) is the leading energy exchange in Europe. It develops, operates and connects secure, liquid and transparent markets for energy and related products on which power, natural gas, CO2 emission allowances, coal and guarantees of origin are traded. In the context of its majority shareholding in Cleartrade Exchange (CLTX), EEX additionally offers the markets for freight, iron ore, fuel oil and fertilizer. Clearing and settlement of all trading transactions are provided by the clearing house European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC). EEX is a member of Eurex Group.
