TSE’s broad index lost 2.38% in the week ended 12 March.
TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index decreased 1864 points, and stood at 76583.4 level at the end of the previous working week. The index’s return reached 101.3% from the beginning of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March 2013).
TSE’s First Market and Second Market indices respectively dropped 1342 and 3810 units, to lose 2.31% and 2.51% comparing one week earlier.
During the five working days of the week ended 12 March 2014, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover diminished about 52% and amounted to approximately IRR 13 trillion*. In the period, nearly 2.72 billion shares were traded in 238310 transactions, rising about 8.2% and 8% than its preceding week.
Total number of 246822 participation bonds at the value of IRR 247 billion was traded at TSE in the week, shrinking about 30% than the prior week.
