TSE’s broad index gained about 0.5% in the week ended 25 December
TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index increased 465 points and stood at 88191 level at the end of the previous working week. The index’s return exceeded 131% from the beginning of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March 2013).
TSE’s First Market and Second Market indices also gained 221 and 1562 units, respectively to grow 0.33% and 0.97% comparing one week earlier.
During the four working days of the week ended 25 December 2013, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover diminished 22% and amounted to approximately IRR 23.3 trillion*. In the period, nearly 7 billion shares were traded in 537273 transactions, which respectively decreased 3% and 27% than its preceding week.
Total number of 542527 participation bonds at the value of IRR 543 billion was traded at TSE in the week which is 24% less than the prior week.
