Main Market
The value of session trading in equities on the Main Market was PLN 16.5 billion in November 2013, an increase of 10.6% year on year. The average value of trading per session increased by 22.2% from PLN 710.2 million in November 2012 to PLN 868.2 million in November 2013.
The incremental value of session trading in the first eleven months of 2013 increased from PLN 173.2 billion to PLN 203.6 billion year on year (by 17.6%).
The total value of trading in equities on the Main Market was PLN 18.2 billion in November 2013, an increase of 17.8% year on year (PLN 15.4 billion in November 2012). The incremental turnover year to date was PLN 237.0 billion, an increase of 26.8% year on year.
The WIG index gained 21.5% year on year and gained 15.3% year to date at the end of November 2013.
NewConnect
The total value of trading on NewConnect decreased by 3.0% year on year from PLN 119.4 million in November 2012 to PLN 115.8 million in November 2013. The incremental value of trading on NewConnect year to date was PLN 1.1 billion in 2013, a decrease of 11.6% year on year.
The NCIndex gained 5.9% year to date and gained 5.3% year on year at the end of November 2013.

Futures contracts: The monthly volume of trading in index futures was 468.3 thousand contracts in November 2013 compared to 562.4 thousand contracts in November 2012 (a decrease of 16.7%). The number of open interest in index futures increased by 1.0% year on year to 127.4 thousand at the end of November 2013. The incremental volume of trading in index futures year to date was 7.5 million contracts, a decrease of 10.2% compared to 8.3 million contracts in January-November 2012.
The volume of trading in single-stock futures decreased by 40.1% year on year (58.4 thousand contracts in November 2012 v. 35.0 thousand contracts in November 2013); however, the incremental volume in January-November increased by 15.9% year on year (492.6 thousand contracts in 2012 v. 570.9 thousand contracts in 2013). The volume of trading in currency futures was 156.8 thousand in November 2013, an increase of 31.7% year on year.
The volume of trading in futures contracts on interest rates (Treasury bonds and WIBOR rates) was 716 in aggregate in November 2013; the incremental volume of trading in these contracts from their introduction to trading in October 2013 was 2.5 thousand.
Options: The volume of trading in WIG20 index options was 48.9 thousand in November 2013, a decrease of 47.2% year on year compared to 92.7 thousand options in November 2012. However, the incremental volume of trading in options year to date increased by 16.1% from 636.8 thousand options in January-November 2012 to 739.1 thousand options in January-November 2013.

The value of listed series (corporate, municipal and mortgage bonds) stood at PLN 58.1 billion at the end of November 2013 compared to PLN 52.1 billion in November 2012 (an increase of 11.6%). The monthly value of total trading decreased by 8.8% from PLN 269.5 million in November 2012 to PLN 245.8 million in November 2013.
Treasury BondSpot Poland
The value of cash transactions on Treasury BondSpot Poland decreased by 53.3% year on year to PLN 14.6 billion in November 2013. The value of conditional transactions decreased by 9.1% from PLN 57.3 billion in November 2012 to PLN 52.0 billion in November 2013.
Structured Products, ETFs and Investment Certificates Market
Structured products and investment certificates: The aggregate monthly value of trading in structured products and investment certificates increased by 15.8% from PLN 20.5 million in November 2012 to PLN 23.7 million in November 2013.
ETFs: The value of trading in ETFs more than tripled from PLN 2.8 million in November 2012 to PLN 9.5 million in November 2013.

Electricity: The volume of forward transactions on the electricity market reached 15.7 TWh in November 2013, a decrease of 23.8% year on year. The incremental volume of forward transactions in electricity year to date increased by 63.4% year on year and stood at 143.5 TWh. The volume of spot transactions in electricity increased from 1.7 TWh in November 2012 to 2.1 TWh in November 2013 (by 27.4%).
Property rights: The monthly volume of trading in property rights decreased by 66.8% year on year from 3.9 TWh in November 2012 to 1.3 TWh in November 2013. The volume of trading in property rights was 36.3 TWh in the first eleven months of 2013, a decrease of 33.4% compared to 54.5 TWh in January-November 2012.
Natural gas: The total volume of trading on the gas market was 624.5 GWh in November 2013 (70.3 GWh of spot transactions and 554.2 GWh of forward transactions). The incremental total volume of trading in natural gas year to date was 1.5 TWh in January-November 2013.
WSE held 19 trading sessions in November 2013, two less than in November 2012.
