Electricite de France SA and Mitsubishi Corp. will build four wind farms with a total capacity of 72 megawatts in northern France.

EDF Energies Nouvelles SA, the French utility’s renewables arm, and Diamond Generating Europe Ltd., a unit of Japan’s Mitsubishi, will each own half of the venture holding the plants, EDF said today in an e-mailed statement. The projects in the Aisne, Pas-de-Calais and Nord regions of the country will be commissioned next year, according to the statement.
