IntercontinentalExchange Group Inc. hired Elizabeth King from KCG Holdings Inc. to serve as a senior lawyer for the New York Stock Exchange, according to a person briefed on the matter.

King will work closely with Tom Farley, who became chief operating officer of the NYSE after Atlanta-based ICE purchased the company in November, according to the person, who asked to not be identified because the personnel change hasn’t been announced publicly yet. Sophie Sohn, a KCG spokeswoman, confirmed that King is leaving the company.
