Mytrah Energy Commissions 17-Megawatt Wind Farm in India

Mytrah Energy Ltd., a renewables developer, has commissioned a 17-megawatt wind farm in Rajasthan, northern India.

This first phase of the wind park came online Monday, according to a statement from the company. It will have 24 turbines from Suzlon Energy Ltd., an Indian manufacturer, and a capacity of 50 megawatts when it is complete before April next year. The total investment will be $50 million.
