The conviction of former trader Tom Hayes for rigging Libor in the first case of its kind was “a job well done” by the U.K. Serious Fraud Office, according to its Director David Green.

“It shows the SFO has the capability to take on these enormous investigations and actually bring them to a satisfactory conclusion,” Green said Tuesday in an interview with Bloomberg TV. “There’s a certain professional satisfaction in a job well done.”
