ABN Amro Initial Offering Is Delayed Amid Pay, Probe Queries

The Dutch government delayed the sale of ABN Amro Group NV, what would be the country’s biggest-ever initial public offering, after lawmakers protested executive pay increases and questioned policy breaches that prompted regulatory probes.

Parliament’s finance committee is seeking information on board salaries, Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem said in a statement Friday. “In light of this, I postpone the decision concerning the sale of ABN Amro,” he said.
